PALM

Norcross have developed our own online Printing and Logistics Management system (PALM) that integrates with our clients’ MIS systems and offers procurement functions that streamline workflow and improve service levels.

PALM is a scalable solution that is currently deployed across a number of well-known New Zealand brands.

We believe that the technology offering that we provide is the current leader in the printing market today, providing the most automation, information, transparency and visibility to any print supply chain. Effectively all workflow and information is available online.


PALM contains the following online ordering functionalities:

• An easy to use ordering system for inventory items inclusive of requisite information about each item

• Online images for each item that can be linked to the assets stored within ADAM (our Advanced   Digital Asset Management system)

• Rate-cards for easy ordering of print-on-demand items from a localised print on demand network

• Ordering of template-driven items such as business cards, letterhead and other stationery items

• Online statement of account (per login/cost centre)

• Order placement hierarchy – only approved users orders are processed whilst others are submitted   electronically for approval

• RFQ templates that are able to be customised to meet any requirements

• Automated workflows from RFQ approval including order notification to suppliers, notification of new   RFQ arrival, quote selection/approval and also email notification to end user

• Online Invoice availability and download

• Online WIP tracking

• View recent quotes

• Approve quotes

• Stock ordering, stock on hand and stock usage

• Digital asset management, version control, workflow and archiving

• Online proofing and multiple approval and collaboration

• Online catalogue, requisitioning and order approval of pre-printed items

• Submit print order with pricing matrix and upload file

• View all stock, KPI and management reports Invoicing is typically done throughout each month   and for key accounts can be consolidated into agreed cost centres and GL codes in the form of an   excel report

Our online catalogue and “Request for Quote” (RFQ) system provides a fully transparent audit trail across each component of the supply chain.

Key to the transparency of the pricing provided is the reporting suite that accompanies it. All online transactions between Norcross and our customers are, as such, fully reportable and customisable.
